Danner Darcleight has been published in the Kenyon Review, Stone Canoe, and the minnesota review, where he was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Two of his essays appeared in Fourth City: Essays from the Prison in America, edited by Doran Larson (2014, Michigan State University Press).

He writes from a maximum-security prison where he is serving 25 year to life and is grateful for the continued support of loved ones. His memoir, Concrete Carnival, is available for purchase on Amazon.
